The light curve modeling of eclipsing cataclysmic variables: from period bouncers to nova-likes
Sergey Zharikov
Abstract
I describe the basic concepts used in developing the computer code CVlab V2.0, which simulates the light curves of close binary systems with accretion-disk structures. I provide a detailed description of the code, including its underlying assumptions, limitations, and applications, as well as prospects for future development.
