Clock Offsets and Ranges from Optical Pseudoranges
Christoph Günther
Abstract
This note describes the estimation of ranges and clock offsets from measured pseudoranges in the context of the Kepler Navigation System. The latter system continuously adapts the frequency of its clocks to ensure that they all show the same time independently of where they are. In Medium Earth Orbits, the joint problem of estimating ranges and clock offsets can then be factorized.
