Splitting of viscosity solutions
David Jesus
Abstract
We give a penalization argument for splitting a continuous viscosity solution of two-sided Pucci inequalities into a solution of the same inequalities with zero boundary values and a function satisfying the homogeneous Pucci inequalities and with the same boundary data, settling an open question raised by Silvestre-Sirakov.
