Open clusters as tracers of the evolution of the Galaxy
Abstract
Deep color-magnitude diagrams are presented for poorly known open clusters Cr 261, Be 18, Be 54, Tr 5 and BH176. All clusters are old objects with age≥ 4 Gyr. BH176 is either old open cluster or young globular cluster. Extremely red giants with V-I>3 were identified in the central parts of Cr 261, Be 54 and BH176. These three objects are candidates for very metal-rich clusters.
