T' = T, S' = gamma S, P'= gamma2 P, V'= V/gamma, and U' = gamma U

Abstract

It is shown that the Lorentz invariant temperature T=T and entropy S=γ S, pressure P = γ2 P, volume V = V/γ, and energy U = γ U, where γ = (1-V2/c2)-1/2, are the correct transformational properties of the thermodynamical quantities of the relativistic ideal gas.
