Anisotropic Homogeneous Cosmology in the Nonsymmetric Theory of Gravitation
Abstract
Solutions to the field equations of the Nonsymmetric Gravitational Theory with g[i0] = 0 are obtained for the homogeneous, plane-symmetric, time-dependent case, both in vacuum and in the presence of a perfect fluid. Cosmological consequences include a dependence of the speed of light on its polarisation, as in a birefringent crystal.
