Prompt Photon Production at HERA
Rachid Lemrani
Abstract
Results are presented on the production of isolated prompt photons in photoproduction (virtuality Q2 < 1 GeV2) and in deep inelastic scattering (Q2 > 35 GeV2). The results are reasonably well described by pQCD calculations in next to leading order. Comparisons to the Monte Carlo models PYTHIA and HERWIG are also presented.
