Measurement of CP-violating parameters in fully reconstructed B D(*)π and B D decays

Abstract

We present a preliminary measurement of CP-violating asymmetries in fully reconstructed B0D(*)π and 0D^ decays in approximately 110 million ( 4S) BB decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at SLAC. % From a maximum likelihood fit to the time-dependent decay distributions we obtain for the CP-violating parameters: aDπ = -0.0320.031 (stat.) 0.020 (syst.), c lepDπ = -0.0590.055 (stat.) 0.033 (syst.) on the B0Dπ sample, aD*π = -0.0490.031 (stat.) 0.020 (syst.), c lepD*π = +0.0440.054 (stat.) 0.033 (syst.) on the B0D*π sample, and aD = -0.0050.044 (stat.) 0.021 (syst.), c lepD = -0.1470.074 (stat.) 0.035 (syst.) on the B0D^ sample.
