B0 --> K+ π- π0 Dalitz Plot Analysis
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert
Abstract
We present preliminary results on the Dalitz plot analysis of B0 K+ π- π0 decays. The data sample comprises 213 million Υ(4S) B B decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. We report measurements of the inclusive branching fraction, quasi-two-body fractions and CP-violating charge asymmetries for intermediate states including K*(892)+ π- and ρ(770)- K+. Observations of B0 decays to the Kπ S-wave intermediate states, K0*(1430)+ π- and K0*(1430)0 π0, are reported. Evidence of the decay B0 K*(892)0 π0 is seen. We set upper limits at 90% confidence level on branching fractions of the nonresonant and other less significant intermediate states.
