A New Measurement of the Masses and Widths of the Sigmac*++ and Sigmac*0 Charmed Baryons
S. B. Athar
Abstract
Using data recorded by the CLEO III detector at CESR, we have made measurements of some properties of the Sigmac*++ and Sigmac*0 charmed baryons. In particular: Gamma(Sigmac*++)=14.4+1.6-1.5+-1.4 MeV, M(Sigmac*++)-M(Lambdac+) = 231.5+-0.4+-0.3 MeV, Gamma(Sigmac*0)=16.6+1.9-1.7+-1.4 MeV, M(Sigmac*0)-M(Lambdac+) = 231.4+-0.5+-0.3 MeV.
