Recent LEP 2 Results from OPAL
Abstract
In 1996, after another set of upgrades, LEP began running for the first time at center-of-mass energies above the W-pair production threshold. This new energy regime is rich in physics and offers new tests of the Standard Model, increased sensitivity for search physics, and precision W physics. We summarize the recent results from OPAL using 9.9 pb-1 of data collected at s = 161.3 GeV from June to August 1996.
