Measurement of the Transverse Momentum Distributions of W and Z Bosons Produced in pbar p Collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.8 TeV

Abstract

We present measurements of the transverse momentum distribution of W and Z bosons produced in pbar p collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.8 TeV. The data were collected with the D0 detector at Fermilab during 1994-1996 Tevatron run. The results are in good agreement with theoretical predictions based on the perturbative QCD and soft gluon resummation combined calculation over the entire measured pt range pT = 0-200 GeV/c).
