Time Dependent Analysis of Decays b +D0 and b +D0
Abstract
The time-dependent analysis of the decays b +D0(t) and b +D0(t) is discussed. The effect of particle mixing due to time evolution of D0 and D0 on the observables for these decays viz the branching ratio of decay widths and the asymmetry parameters α ,β and γ are analysed. It is shown that it is possible to extract information about ( m/) γ from the experimental data for these observables. Here m=mD10-mD20, is the decay widths for Ds and γ is the weak phase.
