CP Violation from Supersymmetry in Hyperon Decays

Abstract

We point out that in supersymmetric models the direct CP violating asymmetry $A(\Lambda^0_-)$ in $\Lambda \to \pi^- p$ can be of $O(10^{-3})$ in the range to be probed by the current E871 experiment.
