Can CPT Symmetry Be Tested With K0 vs K0--> π+π-π0 Decays?

Abstract

We show that the CP-violating effect in K0 vs K0-->π+π-π0 decays differs from that in K L-->π+π-, K L-->π0π0 or the semileptonic K L transitions, if there exists CPT violation in K0-K0 mixing. A delicate measurement of this difference in the KTeV experiment and at the φ factory will provide a new test of CPT symmetry in the neutral kaon system.
