Pseudovector mesons, hybrids and glueballs

Abstract

We consider glueball- (hybrid) meson mixing for the low-lying four pseudovector states. The h1'(1380) decays dominantly to K*K with some presence in rho pi and omega eta. The newly observed h1(1600) has a D- to S-wave width ratio to omega eta which makes its interpretation as a conventional meson unlikely. We predict the decay pattern of the isopartner conventional or hybrid meson b1(1650). A notably narrow s sbar partner h1'(1810) is predicted.
