Contribution to muon g-2 from the π0γ and ηγ intermediate states in the vacuum polarization

Abstract

Using new experimental data, we have calculated the contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon from the π0γ and ηγ intermediate states in the vacuum polarization with high precision: aμ(π0γ)+aμ(ηγ)=(54.7 1.5)× 10-11. We have also found the small contribution from e+e-π0, e+e-η and μ+μ-π0 intermediate states equal to 0.5× 10-11.
