Determination of weak phases ϕ2 and ϕ3 from B ππ,Kπ in the pQCD method
Yong-Yeon Keum
Abstract
We look at two methods to determine the weak phases ϕ2 and ϕ3 from B ππ and Kπ decays within the perturbative QCD approach. We obtain quite interesting bounds on ϕ2 and ϕ3 from experimental measurements in asymmetric B-factory: 55o ≤ ϕ2 ≤ 100o and 51o ≤ ϕ3 ≤ 129o. Specially we predict the possibility of large direct CP violation effect in B0 π+π- decay with Acpdir(B π+ π-)=(237) %.
