Bs-Bs-bar mixing and lepton flavor violation in SUSY SO(10)
Abstract
We present a quantitative analysis of the flavor physics of a SUSY SO(10) model proposed by Chang, Masiero, and Murayama, linking b -> s transitions to the large observed atmospheric neutrino mixing. We consider Bs-Bs-bar mixing and tau -> mu gamma and discuss their correlation paying careful attention to their different dependences on model parameters. Our analysis shows that an order-of-magnitude enhancement of the mass difference with respect to the Standard Model is possible and can be reconciled with the most stringent bounds on lepton flavor violation. The situation for various Delta B=1 decays is discussed qualitatively.
