Comment on "Mass and KΛCoupling of the N*(1535)"

Abstract
We comment on a recent paper by B.C. Liu and B.S. Zou [Phys. Rev. Lett. 96, 042002 (2006)] where it was argued that the coupling of the N*(1535) to KΛis even larger than its coupling to the ηN channel. Specifically, we point out that recently measured Dalitz plot distributions for pp -> pK+Λprovide clear evidence for the importance of (pΛ) final-state interactions in this reaction and, at the same time, exclude a decisive role of the N*(1535) resonance, in contradiction to claims made by Liu and Zou.
