Abstract
The strong decays of the heavy baryons Σ(*)Q ΛQ πare studied by combining the chiral dynamics and the MIT bag model. In charm sector, we calculate the decay widths Γ(Σ(*)c Λcπ) and compare with the experimental data and other theoretical estimations. In addition, we also predict the strong decay widths Γ(Σ(*)b Λbπ).
