Testing ETC Generation of the Top Quark Mass
Abstract
We consider constraints on models in which a top quark mass is generated through unenhanced extended technicolor interactions. The deviation in the parameter from unity and B--B mixing could be large, but given the uncertainties in strong dynamics and variations in the parameters of models, no conclusive statement can be given. We conclude that the low technicolor scale which is required to generate the top quark mass is not ruled out.
