Proceedings of invited lecture at the Zuoz summer school on hadronic aspects of collider physics, August 23-31, 1994, Zuoz, Switzerland. Describes the PHI factory DAPHNE being built at Frascati, Italy, and the physics that can be done there, with emphasis on its potential for studying CP violation.
