Effective Theory Approach to SUSY Hadron Spectroscopy
Abstract
Supersymmetric hadrons of the type , g and q q could exist depending on the masses of the gluino and the squarks being in an appropriate range of values. We find the energy levels of g and q q bound states (where q denotes a light quark, u, d or s), as well as the strong interaction transition rates among them, using a Heavy Gluino Effective Theory, much in the same spirit as the well-known Heavy Quark Effective Theory. The results are obtained with greater ease and elegance in comparison to other approaches.
