η Production in Peripheral Heavy-Ion Collisions
Abstract
We estimate the impact parameter dependence of the production cross section for ηc and ηb mesons in peripheral heavy-ion collisions collisions. Total and elastic γγ cross sections are calculated in an equivalent photon approximation.
