Higher Order QCD Corrections to b ccs

Abstract
We calculate the O(αs2 β0 ) corrections to the decay rate b→ c c s. For reasonable values of mc/mb this term is of the same order as both the one-loop and (αs2 2 mW/mb) corrections to the decay rate. For mc/mb=0.3 the (αs2β0) corrections enhance the rate by 18\% . We also discuss the (αs2β0) corrections to Rτ, the B semileptonic branching fraction and the charm multiplicity.
