Anomalies and decoupling of charginos and neutralinos in the MSSM

Abstract

We study the contribution of charginos and neutralinos of the Minimal SUSY extension of the Standard model (MSSM) to the 1-loop vertices ZAA, ZZA, ZZZ, and examine the related cancellation of anomalies. It is found that when the SUSY parameter μ satisfies |μ| >> M,M', mW, the couplings of charginos and neutralinos with the gauge bosons become purely vectorial, and then their contribution to the amplitudes for ZAA, ZZA and ZZZ vanish, which implies that this sector of the MSSM does not generate a Wess-Zumino term. We evaluate also the contribution of charginos and neutralinos to the parameter, and find that =0 in the large-μ limit.
