Unification of gauge coupling constants in the minimal supersymmtric model with αs≈0.11
Abstract
We have studied the gauge unification with the recent electroweak data as a function of the higgsino mass. It was shown that if the strong coupling constant is small ≈ 0.11, consistent picture of gauge unification is not possible in the minimal supersymmetric standard model.
