Recent developments in Deep-Inelastic Scattering

Abstract

We review several recent developments in the theory and phenomenology of deep-inelastic scattering, with particular emphasis on precision tests of QCD and progress in the detailed perturbative treatment of structure functions and parton distributions. We discuss specifically determinations of alphas; higher twist contributions to structure functions and renormalons; structure functions at small x and resummation of energy logarithms.
