CP Violation in Omega- Decays
Abstract
We estimate the CP-violating rate asymmetry for the decay Omega- -> Cascade + pion. Within the standard model, we find that it could be as large as 2 x 10(-5). This is significantly larger than the corresponding rate asymmetries for other non-leptonic hyperon decays, which are typically less than 10(-6).
