Neutrino oscillation constraints on neutrinoless double-beta decay
S. M. Bilenky, C. Giunti
Abstract
It is shown that, in the framework of the scheme with three-neutrino mixing and a mass hierarchy, the results of neutrino oscillation experiments imply an upper bound of about 10-2 eV for the effective Majorana mass in neutrinoless double-beta decay. The schemes with four massive neutrinos are also briefly discussed.
