Supersymmetric CP violating Phases and the LSP relic density and detection rates

Abstract

For varying values of β, we study the effect of CP violating phases from the soft supersymmetry breaking terms in string-inspired models on the relic abundance and detection rates of the lightest neutralino (LSP). We find that the phases have no significant effect on the LSP relic abundance but can have a substantial impact on the detection rates.
