Drell-Hearn-Gerasimov Sum Rule for the Nucleon in the Large-Nc Limit

Abstract
We show that the Drell-Hearn-Gerasimov sum rule for the nucleon is entirely saturated by the Δresonance in the limit of a large number of colors, Nc ∞. Corrections are at relative order 1/Nc2.
