Signal of partial UA(1) symmetry restoration from two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations
Abstract
The intercept parameter of the two-pion Bose-Einstein correlation functions at low transverse momentum is shown to play the role of an experimentally accessible measure of the (partial) restoration of UA(1) symmetry in ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions.
