Abstract
Let O be a quantizable coadjoint orbit of a semisimple Lie group G. Under certain hypotheses we prove that #(π1(Ham( O)))≥ #(Z(G)), where Ham( O) is the group of Hamiltonian symplectomorphisms of O.
