On a combinatorial problem of Asmus Schmidt
Abstract
For any integer r2, define a sequence of numbers \ck(r)\k=0∞, independent of the parameter n, by Σk=0n nkrn+kkr =Σk=0n nkn+kkck(r), n=0,1,2,...c. We prove that all the numbers ck(r) are integers.
