Boundaries of Reduced Free Group C*-Algebras

Abstract

We prove that the crossed product C*-algebra C*r(,∂) of a free group with its boundary ∂ naturally sits between the reduced group C*-algebra C*r and its injective envelope I(C*r). In other words, we have natural inclusion C*r ⊂ C*r(,∂) ⊂ I(C*r) of C*-algebras.
