Class Preserving Automorphisms of Finite p-groups

Abstract

We classify all finite $p$-groups $G$ for which |$Aut_{c}(G)$| attains its maximum value, where $Aut_{c}(G)$ denotes the group of all class preserving automorphisms of $G$ .
