Universally L1 good sequences with gaps tending to infinity
Abstract
A universally L1 good sequence nk is constructed with nk+1-nk tending to infinity. For ergodic transformations non-conventional ergodic averages of L1 functions computed by using this sequence converge to the integral of the function.
