Landau Hydrodynamics and RHIC Phenomena
Abstract
The basic physical assumptions and results of Landau's hydrodynamic model of particle production are reviewed. It is argued that these results have a substantial descriptive and predictive power in strong-interaction phenomenology, including recent RHIC data.
