The role of σ-meson in ω ππγ decays and the coupling constant gωσγ
A. Gokalp, O. Yilmaz
Abstract
We study the ωππγ decays by adding to the amplitude calculated within the framework of chiral perturbation theory and vector meson dominance the amplitude of σ-meson intermediate state. We estimate the coupling constant gωσγ utilizing the experimental value of the ωπ0π0γ decay rate.
