Relativity, chiral symmetry, and the nucleon electromagnetic form factors

Abstract

A relativistic interpretation for why the proton's GE/GM falls and QF2/F1 is approximately constant is presented. Reproducing the observed GEn mandates the inclusion of the effects of the pion cloud. The full relativistic model with a pion cloud provides a good reproduction of all of the nucleon electromagnetic form factors.
