Final-State Interaction in Electron Scattering by Polarized Nuclei
Abstract
The cross section for the reaction 39 K(e,e'p)38Ar is computed, and the dependence of the FSI on the initial polarization angles of the nucleus 39K is analyzed. The results are explained in a semi-classical picture of the reaction. This procedure allows us to find the best initial kinematical conditions for minimizing the FSI.
