Demazure Modules and Perfect Crystals

Abstract
We give a criterion for the Demazure crystal Bw(λ) defined by Kashiwara to have a tensor product structure. We study the symmetric tensor case, and see some Demazure characters are expressed using Kostka-Foulkes polynomials.
