Carrollian CFTs and the Light Front

Abstract
Carrollian symmetries play an important role in building holographic duals to asymptotically flat spacetimes (AFS). This construction hinges on the isomorphism between the (asymptotic) isometries of AFS and the conformal Carroll algebra. Carroll symmetries also naturally arise on the lightfront, as co-dimension one subalgebras in the Poincare algebra written in lightcone coordinates. In this paper, building on the isomorphism between four dimensional (4d) Poincare and 3d conformal Carroll algebras, we make a connection between physics on the lightfront and Carrollian CFTs. Using insights from the lightfront literature, we construct new representations of Carroll CFTs that connect to massive bulk scattering. We compute two-point functions and build a map between 3d Carroll CFTs and 4d lightfront theories living in AFS.
