Abstract
A unified framework for track reconstruction in the ACTAR Time Projection Chamber (ACTAR TPC) is presented, designed to address the specific challenges of direct-reaction and resonance-elastic scattering experiments involving exotic nuclei. The actroot software package enables efficient semi-online analysis by integrating a continuity-based clustering algorithm followed by a modular filtering procedure to reduce noise, delta-electron contamination, and track fragmentation. The software was benchmarked with experimental data taken with a secondary 20O beam delivered by the LISE3 spectrometer at GANIL. The algorithm achieves reconstruction efficiencies exceeding 90% across various event topologies. The system provides accurate particle identification and reaction-point determination, facilitating the extraction of key physical observables. These results demonstrate the framework's suitability for its application to direct reaction experiments in cubic active-target TPCs without magnetic fields.
