Possible scenario of the spatially separated Fermi-Bose mixture in the superconductive bismuthates Ba1-xKxBiO3
Abstract
A new scenario for superconductivity in the bismuthates based on the concept of a spatially separated Fermi-Bose mixture is proposed. In the framework of this scenario we qualitatively explain the insulator-metal transition and the nature of the superconductivity which occur in Ba1-xKxBiO3 under doping by K. We also analyze briefly an applicability of this scenario for the high-Tc superconductors. In conclusion some additional experiments required to elucidate more precisely the nature of the superconductivity in the bismuthates are discussed.
