Measurements of the absolute branching fractions for D->Kbar pi e+ nue, D-> K*bar e+nue and determination of Gamma(D+ -> K*0bar e+ nue)/Gamma(D+ -> K0bar e+nue)

Abstract

Using the data of about 33 pb-1 collected at and around 3.773 GeV with the BES-II detector at the BEPC collider, we have studied the exclusive semileptonic decays D+ K-π+ e+e, D0 K0π-e+e, D+ K*0e+e and D0 K*-e+e. The absolute branching fractions for the decays are measured to be BF(D+ K-π+e+e)=(3.500.750.27)%, BF(D0 K0π-e+e)=(2.611.040.28)%, BF(D+ K*0e+e)=(5.061.210.40)% and BF(D0 K*-e+e)=(2.87 1.48 0.39)%. The ratio of the vector to pseudoscalar semileptonic decay rates (D+ K*0e+e)/(D+ K0e+e) is determined to be 0.570.170.02.
