Measurement of the Ratio B(+ X e ν) / $ B(0 X e ν)
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert
Abstract
We report measurements of the inclusive electron momentum spectra in decays of charged and neutral B mesons, and of the ratio of semileptonic branching fractions B(+ X e ν) and B(0 X e ν). These were performed on a sample of 231 million B 0.18em -0.18em B events recorded with the B-0.1em A-0.1em B-0.1em A-0.2em R detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. Events are selected by fully reconstructing a hadronic decay of one B meson and identifying an electron among the decay products of the recoiling meson. We obtain B( X e ν)/ B( X e ν) = 1.084 0.041(stat) 0.025(syst).
