Measurement of the pseudoscalar mixing angle and η gluonium content with KLOE detector

Abstract

We have measured the ratio Rφ=BR(φ η γ)/BR(φ η γ) by looking for the radiative decays φ η γ and φ η γ in the final states π+π- 7 γ's and 7 γ's respectively, in a sample of 1.3· 109 φ mesons produced at the Frascati φ-factory. We obtain Rφ=(4.770.09stat0.19sys)· 10-3 from which we derive BR(φ η γ)=(6.200.11stat0.25sys)· 10-5. In the hypothesis of no gluonium content we extract the pseudoscalar mixing angle in the quark-flavor basis φP=(41.40.3stat0.7sys0.6th). Combining the value of Rφ with other constraints, we estimate the gluonium fractional content of η meson as Z2 = 0.140.04 and the mixing angle φP = (39.70.7).
